Sri Lanka cricket star Danushka Gunathilaka is said to have been captured by Police.
He was captured on the grounds that a woman who is 29 years of age has squeezed rape charges against him.
Police claimed that the cricketer physically attacked a lady he met for a date in Rose Straight on Wednesday.
Danushka Gunathilaka, 31 was captured in an inn in Sydney on Sunday at around 1pm.
Danushka Gunathilaka was in the inn with his partners who are there for the Cricket world Cup.
He has been accused of four counts of sex without assent.

The Cricket star has been declined bail by the Police and will be charged under the watchful eye of the Waverley Neighborhood Court on Monday.
In the mean time, the Sri Lanka group has flown out of Sydney after they were taken out of the opposition.
