Mark McKinney’s spent his childhood traveling all around the globe because his father was a diplomat, but then he came back to Canada and studied political science at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. His acting career took off when he started performing with the Loose Moose Theatre Company in Alberta where he and his colleagues formed a comedy team called The Kids in the Hall. However, he became truly well-known to the broad audience once he joined the Saturday Night Live in the ’90s. Since then, he’s appeared in a number of plays, TV shows, films etc.
He has been married to Marina Gharabegian since 1995 and they share two kids together, although rumor has it that they are currently separated. However, it wasn’t officially confirmed.
