Tomasz Swiatek is a Polish tower and the father of Polish tennis player, Iga Swiatek.
Born on born July 26, 1964, Tomasz has been in the men’s quadruple sculls during the 1988 Summer Olympics in 1988.
Tomasz has been a gold medalist at the 1987 Universiade, while he played with the Polish university sports club AZS Warsaw.
In 2020, Tomasz received Polish honours in a joint ceremony, together with his daughter, Iga Swiatek, after she clinched the French Open women’s singles title.
Iga had received a Gold Cross of Merit, while Tomasz received aan Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, for his achievements as a sportsman.
