Mother-of-two Heather Glasgow lost her life in a disastrous occurrence while solo skydiving in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, on February 18 2023.
Her parachute twirled around and around prior to colliding with the ground, delivering the 44-year-old with wounds. She was immediately taken to the medical clinic and conceded at around 3:30pm, yet causing her a deep sense of loved ones alarm, was proclaimed dead at 8pm around the same time.
The Sallisaw Police Division and Government Aeronautics Organization are leading an examination concerning the matter and are expecting to pinpoint the reason for death.
Heather Glasgow was adored by a larger number of people. The 44-year-old was an adventurist. Prior to taking the performance skydiving hop, she had recently led a pair skydive and taken two first-time skydiving classes at Experience Skydive Center, Oklahoma.
Her parachute was completely conveyed in the air, yet wouldn’t appear to quit turning. Her body probably surrendered after various circles as witnesses guaranteed that she was lying unmoving in the air.

Roland Preston saw the occurrence said there was nothing he could do ‘with the exception of call 911’
In a meeting with 5NEWS, Roland Preston said that he saw the whole occurrence from the beginning.
He was en route to supper while driving on U.S. Roadway 59 in Sallisaw when the parachute got his attention. He saw Heather Glasgow’s body lying on a level plane in the air.
“I mean it was totally sideways. I feel like they were at that point oblivious in the air. Since, in such a case that they would have been responsive in the air, they would’ve been kicking their legs. They would have been attempting to battle with their arms to control the parachute.”
He said that he observed weakly as the body drifted to the ground, regardless of his senses to follow through with something.
“It annoyed us so gravely. I needed to have the option to work on something for the person. Yet, there was nothing I could do by any means with the exception of call 911.”
As the body drifted to the ground, he pondered internally:
“It’s absolutely impossible that that the individual might have even survived that. Simply hearing the crash, the particular sound… the manner in which it sounded when the individual hit. It was damaging.
When inquired as to whether he naturally suspected it was a casualness on the skydiving place’s part, he said:
“They’ve forever been super big on security — wellbeing focused. Everyone that I’ve interacted with that I realize that has skydived, had said that their office is truly outstanding around.”
The Government Flight Organization and the Sallisaw Police Division alongside the Oklahoma Clinical Analyst’s Office are investigating the examination concerning Heather Glasgow’s passing
