Jethro Lazenby is the son of Australian singer, songwriter, author, screenwriter, composer and occasional actor Nick Cave and Beau Lazenby.
Beau Lazenby was relatively unknown but rose to fame after she had a a child (Jethro Lazenby) with Nick Cave.
Beau Lazenby is a former model who hails from Australia.
Not much is known about her, other than she lives in Melbourne.
Her son, Jethro Lazenby was born in Melbourne in 1991.
Jethro began modelling after being scouted in the city and had acting roles in the 2007 film Corroboree and 2011’s My Little Princess, which starred Isabelle Huppert. He had also worked more recently as a photographer.
Jethro had a hard time staying away from trouble as he had only been released on bail from Melbourne Remand Centre last Thursday, 5 May, after a magistrate instructed that he must undergo substance abuse treatment and avoid contact with his mother for the next two years.
Previously, a court had heard how Beau found her son at her front door on 7 March, 2022, and let him stay for the night.
The following morning, an argument ensued between Beau and her son leading to her being kneed in the face.
Beau then fled to a local pub and asked them to call the police, the court was told.
Jethro Lazenby’s lawyer, Sean Ghattas, however, explained that Jethro had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, which had affected his judgement.
Jethro had also previously spent time in jail in 2018 for a number of violent attacks on his then-girlfriend.
Unfortunately, Nick Cave and Beau Lazenby’s son Jethro died on May 9, 2022 at the age of 31.
